Emergency Need Vouchers
A FULLY CARED FOR COMMUNITY
Strategic partnerships with local nonprofits open opportunities for helping our neighbors, from school kids to refugees, from homeless people to those who are food-insecure.
Our Voucher Assistance Program provides gas and food to the most impoverished in our community through the generosity of our partnering congregations.
Refugee Resettlement Program
LOVING OUR NEIGHBORS
This ministry, supported by Gettysburg churches and the donations of many in our community, helps two Afghan families navigate the challenges of starting new lives in the United States.
With the friendship and help of volunteers, they are thriving and finding their place in our historic town.
Shared Worship Experiences
SHARING FELLOWSHIP IN FAITH
We worship together in the spirit of Christian unity through shared worship services at key times throughout the year. These community worship services are held on Easter, Thanksgiving and weekly on the Gettysburg Battlefield each Sunday morning at 8am during the Summer.
Who we are
The Gettysburg Area Ministerium is a network of local churches and ministries that support the Gettysburg community and each other through outreach, partnership and mutual worship expressions. Our focus is on that which unifies us and we work together for the benefit of our churches and community!
